Health Coaching to Motivate Change

Preventable lifestyle factors account for at least 70% of the chronic disease affecting half of Australia’s population.

Nurses, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and those involved in health education are invited to attend this dynamic and interactive course presented by Shivaun Conn to discuss Health Coaching, a new approach to the prevention and treatment of lifestyle related disease where clinicians promote self efficacy, determination and responsibility in patients to achieve sustainable health behaviours and outcomes.

Shivaun Conn Dietitian and Health Coach, Discovery Health Coaching

Shivaun is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), Accredited Nutritionist (AN), Health Coach, Certified Trainer & Assessor, Director of Discovery Health Coaching and Vice President of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. Shivaun has worked for 17 years as a dietitian, health coach and presenter. She currently coaches individuals in nutrition and lifestyle, trains practitioners in health behaviour change, and develops nutrition and health coaching programs across a range of sectors.
